Medical PP plastic raw materials have very high transparency, and have good performance in barrier properties and radiation resistance, making it widely used in medical equipment and packaging industry. Non-PVC materials with PP plastic as the main body are currently widely used alternatives to PVC materials.

PP plastic is colorless, odorless and non-toxic. It looks like polyethylene but is more transparent and lighter than polyethylene. PP is a kind of excellent performance thermoplastic, which has the advantages of small specific gravity (0.9g / cm3), non-toxicity, easy processing, impact resistance and flex resistance.
PP plastic raw material is a semi-crystalline material with high melting point and good heat resistance. It can be sterilized at temperatures above 100 ° C. Yield strength, tensile strength, compressive strength, hardness and elasticity are higher than polyethylene (PE).
Homopolymer PP has greater brittleness, and random copolymerized PP synthesized with ethylene has better toughness and stronger impact strength. Products that are usually used at low temperature should be copolymerized with PP or thermoplastic rubber to modify PP to increase its flexibility and low temperature impact resistance.

It is easy to depolymerize and age under the action of oxygen, heat and light, so anti-aging agents must be added. PP products are not easy to adhere, need to be processed before bonding, and special adhesives must be used. Cyclohexanone used by equipment manufacturers cannot meet the requirements. Poor coloring, large shrinkage (generally 1.6-2.5%), poor burning resistance and easy ignition. PP is a non-polar material and has a low adsorption capacity for drugs.

PP film is usually welded into bags by heat sealing method, and its processing technology is more complicated than that of high frequency welding of PVC bags. Non-PVC large infusion bags are produced using fully automatic equipment to ensure stable process and reliable quality.
